I’m a freelance writer, editor, and storytelling consultant, but what I really am is a storyteller. As the homepage says, I am fascinated by Story in all its many facets, mediums, genres, and reasons for being.

I’m on a quest to understand storytelling at its deepest level and what that means for humanity, or as Sir Pratchett called us, Pans narrans—the “storytelling chimpanzee.”

If you’d like to get a hold of me to work on your project, ask questions about any of my posts, or just Geek out over some shared passions, you can email me at:

Adventures in Storytelling

I started  as a way to reflect on my writing process, in order to improve and understand my craft. At the same time, I saw it as a place where I could build a community of storytellers—from across mediums—able to support, inspire, and challenge one another to be better storytellers.
