For as long as I’ve had memory, I’ve been fascinated by stories. I spent my childhood consuming them, and my adult life trying to understand them. I started writing short stories in high school, and since those days have become enthralled with telling stories across mediums—prose, poetry, comics, video games, film, music, and more. Eventually I went to university for a double major in Creative & Professional Writing to hone my craft as both a writer and an editor.

At the heart of what I do, both professionally and personally, is this love of stories. They are the most important aspect of what makes us human. What are the stories we tell? How and with whom do we share them? What do they teach us, and why do we tell them? These are important questions that define us, and I find them infinitely fascinating. I am passionate about creating stories, but as I’ve learned about myself, I’m just as excited to help others share theirs.

Novels, songs, comics, movies, jokes, life-stories, paintings, meals, and so very much more; from Adventure Time to Shakespeare, Passenger to Whedon, whether it’s the Hero’s Journey or a session of D&D with friends—storytelling is what I do; a storyteller is who I am.

Join me as I adventure through my thoughts and share some musings on geekery, pop culture, storytelling, social issues, and pretty much whatever comes to my head. At the very least, I hope I can brighten your day; at the most, well, let’s see where our ideas can take us, shall we…
